“Carrie” is Stephen King’s debut novel, published in 1974. The book tells the story of Carrie White, a shy and unpopular high school student who possesses telekinetic abilities. Subjected to constant bullying from classmates and living under the oppression of her religiously fanatical mother, Carrie ultimately uses her supernatural powers for terrible revenge, leading to tragic consequences.
