Vaska the Emigrant

Out of stock
Book in Russian

Cat Vasily Ogurtsov and his family emigrate to Spain. It will be very difficult for Vaska to adapt to the new food and new neighbors. It’s impossible to find tasty cucumbers at the market; parrots constantly squawk while he sleeps; and Spaniards don’t know how to pronounce his name correctly. His neighbor, Barsik, constantly lectures Vaska, but turns out to be a very good and reliable friend. If he replaces cucumbers with watermelons, eats sardines with Barsik while listening to music, and manages to communicate with the parrots, integrating into his new life won’t seem so complicated. The main thing is to run away from Valentina in time—otherwise she will take Vaska to the vet clinic. And trips to the vet are not Vaska’s favorite pastime. If you sometimes feel out of place, use Vaska’s recipe. A good sleep under the bed and cucumbers always help! 6+ Sandermoen Publishing
